It was a stormy evening when Jonas decided to drive home through the forest. His old red car shook as strong wind blew and heavy rain fell. The road was wet and slippery, and it was hard to see. Suddenly, a big tree fell right in front of his car. Jonas quickly hit the brakes and stopped just in time. His hands were shaking. He knew he was very lucky. If he had driven a little faster, he would have crashed. He got out of the car and looked at the tree in the rain. “That was close,” he said. It was truly a lucky escape.

It was a sunny morning, and the small plane was ready for takeoff. Pilot Emma smiled as she climbed into the cockpit. The sky was blue, and everything looked perfect. But just before the plane started moving, she heard a strange sound. “Meow!” Emma looked down and saw a little cat sitting near the wheels. She jumped out and carefully picked it up. The cat must have sneaked into the airport! Emma laughed and gave the cat to a worker nearby. If the plane had taken off, it could have been dangerous. Thanks to the sun and silence— a lucky escape.
